Two heads are better than one

This is for the Unusual friendship contest. Here we have Tony and a tom-thumb off on an adventure of some sort. Tony has his reactive camouflage armor with his traveling companion safely inside his helmet between his face and the ballistic visor.

Right now he has his visor "clean and clear" verses tinted or with matching camouflage on it, nor does he have any heads up displays for his scanners.

Between the two of them they can be vigilant and quiet while traversing the dangers or the jungle while still being able to carry on a conversation and keep one another company. As a additional benefit any tiny passengers will be much more protected from harm if something does attack them since they are also within the armor too (but they can still get bounced around).


I have a few stories in conception right now that would work for this image, but they are incomplete right now.

Image wise I wanted to try something different than just basic solid colors, so I tried out watercolors for a portrait like picture. OH MY GOODNESS, I forgot how hard it is to work with watercolors to make anything half decent. In the end I added some pastel lines to help make sense of everything.

As before I did this with 'MyPaint' (and not with Photoshop...thus no easy way to color or manipulate the image such as the 'fill bucket') and it was all drawn and painted with a mouse. Needless to say I feel like I am done with this photo now, even though this has the potential to have more done to it. Oh, and I used a motorcycle helmet for reference.
