Abandoned Mill 2

The little dam/waterfall that would provide the water power to the mill at one point. This is actually pretty new, they rebuilt it for some reason about 5-10 years ago. (I forget exactly when.) It used to be a legit waterfall, a vertical drop on big old rock bed, now its this concrete slope. (Both are a good 20 foot drop.)

Now this area is actually fenced off, where before you could climb down to the base of the waterfall to mess around, explore, go fishing...just had to be careful of the slippery wet rock you were standing on.

With the old set up about right to my immediate left was a control station with a couple of these big rusted solid "captain wheels" like on a ship with that apparently controlled the flow of water through the big iron gate release doors that would be underneath where I was standing. Now the big rusted gears, doors, wheels, etc are gone.
